Dr. Robert L. Alpert is the Founder and C.E.O. of Southmetro Chiropractic Center, Inc. He is a native of Brooklyn, New York where he graduated from the State University of New York Brockport in Upstate New York in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He minored in biology and chemistry. Upon graduation, he continued his education at Life College of Chiropractic in Marietta, GA. In 1987, he graduated from Life University College of Chiropractic.

Southmetro Chiropractic Center was founded in 1992. Since its inception, he has treated thousands of patients that have suffered from various conditions. He has been able to help babies as young as one day old, all the way up to 98 years old. And with this much experience, he is very familiar with the ups and downs that many of us can have in our health journey. He has advanced training in radiology, orthopedics and neurology.

He is a highly sought after teacher and instructor. He has taught Georgia law, ethics and boundaries, Coding and insurance billing, diagnosis, goals workshop, secrets to heath, HIPAA compliance, transition to wellness, Health care class, Medicare billing, physiological therapeutics, managing foot conditions through chiropractic, the five biggest weight loss and fitness myths, ADHD workshops, arthritis workshops, back pain workshops, Scoliosis workshops, taking control of your headache workshops, Immunity, proper lifting, and workplace ergonomics.

He was been appointed by Governor Brian P. Kemp to the Georgia Board of Chiropractic Examiners where he serves as Vice Chairman and current Chairman of the Investigative Committee (IC).

Dr. Alpert is licensed to practice in Georgia and Florida. In his spare time, Dr. Alpert enjoys working out, training others, riding his motorcycle, donating time to multiple charities, and instructing others how to safely shoot their weapons.
